Organized GBC
The Association of Training Institutions for Foreign Trade in Asia and the Pacific (ATIFTAP) organized the annual Global Business Conference (GBC) to bring the "global world" to the classroom. The GBC aims to support International Marketing, Export Marketing, Export Management and Global Business teachers with actual cases of local businesses.
1st GBC
The 1st GBC was held on February 2007 at De La Salle University (DLSU) in Manila, Philippines. About 1,200 participants joined this event. The 2nd GBC was held at the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC) in Manila with about 1,300 participants. The succeeding GBCs, with about 1,400 participants, were held at DLSU and PTTC.
